Privacy policy
1. Who we are
This website, alphapowersemiconductor.com, is operated by Alpha Power Semiconductor Holding Limited, a company incorporated in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), with its registered office at DD-14-124-041, 14, Al Khatem Tower, ADGM Square, Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. We are the controller of personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy at contact@alphapowersemiconductor.com.
This policy follows the ADGM Data Protection Regulations 2021. It covers this website only. The investor data room is governed by its own terms, which you accept when you are given access.
2. What we collect
- Information you send us. Your name, email address, organisation, the content of your message and any documents you attach, such as a CV.
- Technical information. When you visit, our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Spam protection. The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA, which collects information about your device and how you interact with the page to tell people from automated bots. This information goes to Google and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Usage statistics. We measure visits with cookieless analytics that count page views in aggregate and do not identify individual visitors.
Please do not send us sensitive personal data, such as health information, religious beliefs or national identification numbers, including in a CV.
3. How we use it
- To answer enquiries from investors, partners, government bodies and the public. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to you, or taking steps you have asked for before entering into an agreement.
- To handle job applications. We pass CVs to the operating company that is recruiting, because hiring happens at operating-company level. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible employment contract.
- To run, secure and improve the website. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a safe and reliable site.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations.
- To use optional cookies, where you have accepted them. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only as needed: with the operating companies in our group, for job applications and business enquiries that concern them; with service providers that host the website, protect it from attack, filter spam from the contact form (Google reCAPTCHA) and provide our email; with professional advisers under duties of confidentiality; and with courts, regulators or authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
5. International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside the ADGM. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards permitted by the ADGM Data Protection Regulations 2021, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months after our last contact, and CVs for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Technical logs are kept by our hosting provider for short periods for security purposes. We keep data longer only where the law requires it.
7. Your rights
You have the right to ask for access to your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where we rely on consent. To make a request, email contact@alphapowersemiconductor.com. We will respond within one month. You can also complain to the ADGM Office of Data Protection.
8. Security
The website is served over encrypted connections and protected by our hosting provider's security services. No system is completely secure, so please do not send confidential information by email unless we have agreed a secure channel.
9. Children
This website is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
